Scenario
It follows three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised that the show got such a low rating, but it made more sense when I saw in a few reviews that it didn’t make it past the first episode.
I really enjoyed the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a slow burn mystery that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it funny and entertaining, with Liz Feldman’s signature tone.
All the characters have their own side stories that create a tangled web of chaos that gradually unravels, though not completely
At first, I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano because of my own biases (I couldn’t tell the hell out of “Everybody Loves Raymond”), but that went away pretty quickly. After the last episode, I was really excited about this story, even though I figured out the main twist very early on.
But I’m not mad about it
I’d love to see more of this show and I hope there’s a second season. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming releases of the month.
